PRESS RELEASE:
As the public is aware, I was charged with assault and battery against my father, and two counts of intimidating a witness—one for allegedly intimidating my mother, one for allegedly intimidating my father. These charges were brought in Pittsfield District Court.
After the close of the prosecution̢۪s argument, Judge Paul Vrabel directed a verdict of NOT GUILTY as to the two counts of intimidating a witness.
The count for assault and battery against my father was allowed for the jury to decide. After deliberating for approximately 25 minutes, the jury delivered a verdict of NOT GUILITY.
I will be having a news conference at 2:00 PM TOMORROW, FRIDAY, JANUARY 11, 2007, on the front steps of the Berkshire Superior Court House.
